My Friend Maigret
A small time crook is murdered on the island of Porquerolles, the night after he boasted of his ‘friend’ Maigret in a crowded bar. Maigret sets off for the sunny island with a Scotland Yard detective who is observing French methods. No one has an obvious motive – is someone trying to get at Maigret himself?
