The Madman of Bergerac
Maigret is shot chasing a man who mysteriously jumped off a moving train in front of him. Recovering in the nearby town of Bergerac, Maigret discovers that a deranged killer who pierces his victim’s hearts with a needle is on the loose. Maigret conducts an investigation from his sick bed with Madame Maigret making his enquires for him, but they meet a wall of suspicion and silence, somebody has something to hide.
